Welcome to the Church of Snarky, I'm the Irreverent Reverend Grandpa Lou Valliere. We are not a traditional church since we are not religious in any way and in fact, I'm a former Catholic then Southern Baptist and current Non-Religious Immature Senior Citizen. My wife, Janine says I'm a "Very" Immature Senior Citizen and to that I say: "Proudly So!"
"Church is where people gather for shared wisdom and community. I'm not preaching religion - I'm sharing ancient wisdom from philosophers, writers, and thinkers who've been dead for 100+ years. The 'Church' part is about the congregation, the community. The 'Snarky' part is because I don't take myself too seriously while doing it. Think of it as a secular gathering place for people who want wisdom with a sense of humor."
Or the shorter version: "It's a church for people who believe in wisdom, not worship. And the 'Irreverent' part means I'm the first to admit I'm full of shit half the time."
